Nick Athanassiou

Nick has been a resident of Orleans since 1995. He served on the faculty of Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business from 1995 until 2017. His areas of expertise include global management and the implications of cultural differences on international strategy implementation. His research has focused on characteristics of top management teams as they are related to the internationalization of the firm, on family business founder strategies, and on the social network view of the firm. Nick has consulted on strategic planning with non-profit organizations and on international business strategy and expatriation/repatriation issues. Locally he has served on the Orleans Finance Committee since 2019 and the Payomet Board of Directors (2018-2021).
