Steve O'Grady
Since 2018, Steve has served as Executive Director of the Orleans Conservation Trust (OCT), a nonprofit land trust that protects and manages land and educates the public to safeguard the community's natural resources. Prior to OCT, he spent two years in the sustainable seafood industry—as a commercial salmon fisherman in Southeast Alaska, head fishmonger at a Boston seafood market, and an oyster farmer in Barnstable. Steve has also worked for Mass Audubon in Wellfleet as a coastal water bird technician. He attended Colby College, where he majored in Environmental Science with a concentration in conservation biology. He grew up north of Boston, spent childhood summers in Orleans, and feels very fortunate to live and work on Cape Cod.
