Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have stunning shots of Pleasant Bay sunsets, boating adventures, wildlife encounters, or special moments by the water? Friends of Pleasant Bay is building a photo archive to celebrate the beauty, biodiversity, and community spirit of our treasured estuary — and we’d love your help!

 

Whether you’re a seasoned shutterbug or just happened to catch a perfect moment on your phone, we invite you to submit your best photos in categories like:

• Boating & water recreation (sailboat racing, kids at play)

• Marine & bird life (horseshoe crabs, osprey, and fish)

• Scenic views (sunrises, sunsets, seascapes, river edges)

• Coastal resources like beaches, dunes, seagrass, etc.

• Educational or scientific activity on the water

• People enjoying the Bay

• Pleasant Bay through the seasons

 

We’re also looking for volunteers to help organize and catalog our growing collection — a great way to connect with the Bay behind the scenes. All contributions will be credited (with your permission) and may be featured in our website, newsletters, social media, printed materials, and at annual events.
