Diana Landau

Diana moved to South Orleans in 2008 with her husband, Orleans native Greg DeLory. Raised on coastal Long Island, she graduated from Skidmore College and began her career in book publishing in New York. After relocating to San Francisco, she developed a deep knowledge of natural history, environmental issues, and photography during her many years as a staff editor for Sierra Club Books. She also worked for Banana Republic and co-owned a book packaging agency.

Today, Diana is a part-time grant writer for the Center for Coastal Studies and operates Parlandau Communications, providing writing and editorial services. Over her career, she has written or ghostwritten books, print materials, and website content for many clients and organizations.

Diana is a former trustee of the Orleans Conservation Trust and a founding and former director of the Sipson Island Trust. She also sails with Pleasant Bay Community Boating, so joining the Friends of Pleasant Bay feels to her like completing a “Bay circle.”

Stepmom to Greg’s grown children and “Nana Diana” to two grandsons, Diana sings soprano with the Chatham Chorale and in the choir of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans.
