Peter Cohen

Peter Cohen, Ed.D. is a Chatham resident and currently serves as the Principal of Nauset Regional Middle School in Orleans. A public school educator for over 25 years in Massachusetts, Dr. Cohen uses his collaborative, decisive, and transparent leadership style to develop progressive professional development models, empower teachers, and support creative, project based learning. Prior to joining the Nauset Public Schools, Dr. Cohen served as Principal of the middle school on Nantucket and began his career in education as a history teacher in Lexington, MA, where he was raised. A lifelong summer visitor to Chatham, Peter is excited to be living and working on Cape Cod as a year-round resident. Forming partnerships between the local schools and FoPB is a priority.
